01/2010: Kista was bred to RB and produced GTS Hanshouf, a gray colt in 2008. This was her first foal, and it was a great relief to me that all went well. Kista also turned out to be a wonderful mom.
But, since room here is very limited and I have decided to focus more on the Hadruj right now, I have also offered Carol Raymond-Stone the opportunity to take Kista on a long term breeding agreement and she has accepted.
Kista was bred to RB in late May 2009, and is due in late April 2010. Carol is very glad to have Kista back, and her coming foal is much anticipated by all of us. We're hoping for a desperately needed filly!
03/08: Kista has been bred to RB in May of 2007, and we are anxiously awaiting the arrival of her foal, who is due in mid April. This will be a milestone event for us, since the foal will be second generation pure in strain Ma'aneghi, something that is exceedingly rare anymore. This is Kista's first foal, and Carol Raymond-Stone (Cedarstone Arabians in OH) and I both can't wait to see it. I have long since given up on hoping for a specific gender or color and simply want to see a healthy, happy baby and a contented mom.
11/05: We are pleased to announce the arrival at Royal Blue Farms of CSA Amira Kista AHR# 0539365, 1997 grey mare.
Kista is coming to us from Ohio through the courtesy of Carol Raymond Stone, from whom we also originally got CSA Jerusha and Cedar Kaifa. Kista is by Sharif Zaraq who was a Ma'anagieh S'baili, out of Takelma Rosanna, also a Ma'aneghiyeh S'bailiyeh, making Kista pure in strain M. S'bailiyeh. She is the first S'bailiyeh mare for us, and we are very excited about her arrival. She brings in a lot of Egyptian bloodlines, as well as some wonderful old American bloodlines. The foals we hope to get from Kista and RB will also be second generation pure in strain Ma'anagieh.
