KRH Sabrina Jewel

AK Shabah x Zaarina Jewel

March 2008: Spring is here, and so is the new saddle! I'm looking forward to getting back on Sabrina with the warmer weather closing in fast. She's had some time off to think about everything that has happened since she left Colorado, and it's time to begin a new chapter in her book. I have plans to show her in Western Pleasure, and also to get her bred and settled early on. She is the first mare on the breeding list this season, and I hope to start trying her beginning in April. While I *do* want to get her bred, I *don't* want a foal to be born too early in the year. March can be a fickle month here in NJ, and to deliberately misquote Forrest Gump, "it's like a box of chocolates--you never know what you're gonna get" We've had temps in the 70's one day, and that night had snow. So, no......no early March babies if I can help it. ;-) But Sabrina is filling out nicely. I'm looking forward to getting on her and getting her out there in the ring. She has enough attitude to go around, and will turn heads I'm sure.

November 2006: We are extremely pleased to announce the addition of KRH Sabrina Jewel AHR 0602741, from Holly Arabians in Peyton, Colorado. Thank you, Holly!

Sabrina brings the blood of the third Drissula daughter, Julya to our breeding program making us quite possibly the only farm in the US that has ties to *all* the mares of the Muniqi strain, both Hadruj and S'baili.

Sabrina is only 4 and still growing, but she is a solid 14.3 hands now. She's a rich bay, with a star, strip and snip, and 3 white feet. She is very correct with a beautiful neck and head with a large lovely eye. And her movement is gorgeous. She has gone directly into training with Guilene Mallard at Good Times Training Stable in Freehold, and I am eagerly awaiting both the chance to ride her and the addition of her foals to the farm. I can't decide which I want to see happen first! I am leaving it up to Guilene to steer me in the right direction for the first discipline to teach Sabrina. Notice I say first discipline--because I firmly believe this girl will be every bit as multi-talented and easy to train as RB has proven to be so far. She is very sweet, and was interested in making friends from the first day of her arrival. She had George at "Hello" and he is nearly as enthusiastic about her as I am--which is hard to believe, but true. ;-) I'll be the first to admit she had me at "Hello" as well.

She has made the trip over half way across the country and settled into her new place like an old hand at travel, which has impressed us all. I think we are going to be seeing and hearing a lot more about this girl in the future; mark my words.....
