GTS Hanshouf

RB Bellagio x CSA Amira Kista

Update January 2010: Time certainly does fly. GTS Hanshouf is growing in leaps and bounds. At 18 months of age, he was already over 14 hands, and built very solidly. His looks and movement favor his maternal grand-sire Sharif Zaraq *very* strongly. I have video footage of Sharif, and the resemblance is striking. Since we don't have the facilities here to maintain 2 mature stallions, I have offered Hanshouf to Carol Raymond-Stone, of Cedarstone Arabians, in Bethel, OH as a long term breeding loan. Carol accepted the offer, and Hanshouf and his mother, CSA Amira Kista have gone to live with her as of July 2009.

Carol has mares that she is hoping to use Hanshouf (or Ben, as she calls him) on. He is enjoying life in OH, where he has a lot of room to run and grow. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if he topped out at over 15 hands when he's done. Unfortunately, I didn't manage to get any photos of him before he left for OH, so that'll have to wait until we go out to visit with Carol later this year; probably in the fall of 2010

On April 5, 2008, CSA Amira Kista presented us with a brand new colt. A new Managhi S'baili!
